Maybe it’s because I haven’t really been exposed to this community, but it seems that a lot of the people in it are very pushy. They know what they want, whether it be long-term or a one night stand. If you don’t put out, they either get all depressed or bitchy or angry or whiny. Some of them really don’t know when to stop; some of them push harder. And when you continue denying them, they get depressed or bitchy or angry or whiny all over again. A lot of them just wanna hang, which is fine. But others want more, which is not what I want at the moment. After I tell them that I normally don’t do that kinda stuff unless I’m interested in being with that person, they often reply with a rude “oh” or “k” and they either text way less and with less enthusiasm, or even stop texting altogether. Maybe it’s been this way all along and I’m just not used to it. Maybe it’s just my bad luck with the ones that try to get with me. Either way, it’s weird. I mean, let’s at least be friends first, no?

So weird. So very, very weird.
